I Dare you Book Tag

Time for another Book Tag my Friends ! I saw this Tag at Bree’s Blog @InLove&Words. Make sure to check out her Blog !

There are 19 questions but I only chose 10. So let’s get right into it

1.) What book has been on your shelf the longest?

Too many books *cough cough*. I hopped on Goodreads and looked at my tbr and there are several books shelved on November 7th 2017. Mere Christianity by C.S.Lewis is one and Significance by Shelly Crane is another one. I probably won’t read Significance but Mere Christianity is still a book I want to read.

2.) What is your current read, your last read, and the book you’ll read next?

My current read: Storm and Fury by J.L.Armentrout

Last read: Requiem, Changing Times by R.J.Parker

Next read: Heart Bones by Colleen Hoover

3.) What book did everyone like, but you hated?

Again, so many ! There are two I really disliked even though so many readers recommended me the books ! Dirty Letters by Vi Keeland and Collide by Gail McHugh. I have written Reviews for both of these books, so if you want to know why I disliked them, check them out 🙂

4.) What book do you keep telling yourself you’ll read, but you probably won’t?

Mirage by Somaiya Daud. I wanted to read this book for such a long time and it has been on my tbr for a really really long time. But, I honestly don’t think I will.

5.) Last page: read it first, or wait until the end?

Why would people read the last page first ? Reading is a process, I would never read the last page first.

6.) Acknowledgments: waste of paper and ink, or interesting aside?

I love reading Acknowledgements, especially of books I genuinely loved and enjoyed. I think they are necessary to really connect with the Author. So definitely not a waste of paper and ink for me

7.) Which book character would you switch places with?

This is such a hard question because I would love to switch places with a lot of characters. I recently finished The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker and I would totally switch places with Calla. I mean having Jonah and visiting Alaska ? Sign me up

8.) Which book has been with you the most places?

I always travel with my e-reader so many many books have been traveling with me. When it comes to Paperbacks, I believe that Sherlock Holmes and my Lisa Kleypas books have been traveling with me a lot as well 🙂

9.) Who is the person whose book advice you’ll always take?

When it comes to romance books, I trust my cousin, Meri. We have a similar taste in books so she knows what I’ll like. For YA & Fantasy, I trust Amira (check her out) on Bookstagram and my own gut xD

10.) Is there a book out of your comfort zone that you ended up loving?

Wolf gone Wild by Juliette Cross was a book I definitely enjoyed and wouldn’t have picked up under normal circumstances 🙂

  1. I love your answers, Syl! I didn’t like Dirty Letters too (I thought it was just me lol), and I would really love to switch places with Calla too! The Simple Wild is one of my favorite books ever, and I always love seeing it in posts.

I’m a new follower – your blog is gorgeous, and I’m looking forward to interact more with you. 🙂
