Hi and welcome back to my Blog !! I just noticed how I skipped my Watchlist for June and July and I feel horrible. So even though we’re in the middle of September and technically this Blog post should have been up & running at the start of September,-I still decided to post my “August Watchlist”.
Alright, let’s get right into it ! I hope these recommendations help you and you end up loving the same series & movies that I do.

1). Gotham (Seasons 1 & 2)
The series follows Gotham City Police Department recruit James Gordon & his partner Bullock who solve crimes. At the time, Gotham’s criminal underworld is emerging after the murder of billionaire Thomas & Martha Wayne. Bruce Wayne (their son) is left alone trying to solve his parents murder with his Butler Alfred.

My rating
This series got me hooked from the very first episode. It’s no secret that I adore everything & anything that has to do with Superheros in the worlds of Marvel & DC. I’ve always loved Batman, so to get the story of his childhood & even more so, the story of the detective who helped him, is amazing. I also appreciate the incorporation of many of Batman’s enemies, like the Riddler or Penguin. I love the cinematography of this, I am obsessed with the characters and there are a lot of twists &turns,-this show is truly phenomenal.
2). Vikings (Season 1)
This is a historical drama series, which broadly follows the exploits of the legendary Viking chieftain Ragnar Lothbrok and his crew, and in later seasons those of his sons.

My rating
I haven’t finished this series yet, but the few episodes of Season 1 I watched were really intriguing. There’s a lot of violence and brutality involved, which I’m not a big Fan of, but it’s necessary and it makes the series powerful and action-loaded. The characters are interesting & I love how we get to see the culture of the Vikings. The cast is phenomenal & the story is fast paced and full of events. I highly recommend this one if you’re into historical drama with a lot of fight scenes.
3). The princess & the Frog (2009)
The princess & the Frog is an animated fantasy movie produced by Disney. It follows the story of Tiana, a waitress, desperate to fulfill her dreams as a restaurant owner, who is set on a journey to turn a frog prince back into a human being, but she has to face the same problem after she kisses him. My rating
Very rarely does a month go by where I don’t watch a Disney movie or at least listen to Disney songs. The Princess & the Frog is extremely special to a lot of Disney Fans, because Tiana is the first African American princess. The film is filled with rich, vibrant characters and a lot of catchy songs. I highly recommend this one !

So these are some of the Tv Series & the one movie I have watched, hope you enjoyed my small reviews. If you watch any of these series or if you’ve already watched one of them,- let me know and let’s talk in the comment section about it.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the images
