Monthly Wrap-up: September 2020/ YA reading month/ University is crazy right now/ No time management

Hello & welcome back to my Blog. It’s been a hot minuite since I’ve posted a Blog post and I blame University for it. Well, and my lack of Time Management * insert angelic face here*

September has been one of my laziest months by far. I didn’t want to do anything, except to binge-watch series & movies. And then University started and I had to study a lot because of my upcoming exams. Guys, I was procrastinating at it’s finest and my next exam is slowly creeping up on me.

Latest post on Bookstagram

The good thing is, I’m spending more time on Bookstagram (Is that good or bad ?! xD) It’s honestly so fun to connect with other readers and watch their stories and their aesthetic pictures. I am very active on there, so if you want to follow me, that would be awesome.

Books I read this month

I read four books, and considering how unmotivated I was, I consider that a win. It was also a YA reading month, because I only read YA books.

The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh: This book was ….beautiful. I thought that I was too old for paranormal romance with Vampires, but who was I kidding. I am still trash for Vampires. I loved almost everything about it and I will definitely write a full Review on my Blog, but here is a small review on my Goodreads.

The wrath & the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh: Yes, I read 2 books by Renne Ahdieh this month ! I actually started with this one and then towards the end of September decided to give “The Beautiful” a chance. The Wrath & the Dawn made me feel so extremely nostalgic. Growing up I’ve heard a lot of “1001 Nights” stories and this was one of them, with a few extremely well done twists. Totally fell in love with the characters.

The Hunter & the Mage by Kaitlyn Davis: You can read my full Review here on my Blog.

Sisters of Shadow & Light by Sara B. Larson: This book didn’t quite live up to my expectations. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. There were enjoyable moments but the pacing was very slow and the magic system was very basic. You can read a few thoughts on it on my Goodreads.

On my Blog

I’ve been such a bad blogger for the past few months! I am honestly not prioritizing blogging right now and I think it’s okay to accept that. I am focusing more and more on my Instagram Blog, which makes me happy.

I feel bad about how behind I am on engaging with you and blog hopping. It’s been a while since I’ve talked to you all, and there are so many good posts I missed ! I will definitely set some time aside to blog hop and engage with you but after my huge exam in a few weeks.

Anyways, here are the posts I posted this month:

How was your September? How is Life right now and how is your October? What are you currently reading ? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

  1. Oooh I have been wanting to read The Wrath and The Dawn for a while since I am obsessed with retellings… Even more excited for it now that I know the twists were good and that you fell in love with the characters! 😆
